The Base Transceiver Stations are a modular family of BTS-products and based
on the same hardware components:
For indoor operation:
Siemens BS 20 (D900, D900R,D1800):
max 2carrier per rack, serves up to 2 cells, max. 2 carrier per cell.
Siemens BS 60 (D900, D900R,D1800, D1900):
max 6 carrier per rack,
serves up to 3 cells, max. 6 carrier per cell.
For outdoor operation:
Siemens BS 21 (D900, D900R, D1800,D1900):
max 2 carrier per rack, serves up to 2 cells, max. 2 carrier per cell.
Siemens BS 22 (D900, D1800):
max 2 carrier per rack, serves up to 2 cells, max. 2 carrier per cell.
Siemens BS 61 (D900, D900R, D1800, D1900):
max 6 carrier per rack, serves up to 3 cells, max. 6 carrier per cell.
For indoor and outdoor operation:
Siemens BS 11 (D900, D1800):
max 2 carrier per rack, serves up to 2 cells, max. 2 carrier per cell.

The BS-240/241 are compatible with the existing Siemens BS-20/21/22 and BS-60/61 products.
An easy expansion of installed networks with the BS-240/241 is possible. Software features will run independently on
all BTS types.
